St John's strives to be a church that welcomes all people and actively serves the community to which we belong. By the grace of God, St John's will embrace the future with open doors and open hearts, seeking to love and serve with care and respect. Donations made to St John's are used to grow our ministry and serve the community. St John's is home to a wide variety of active ministries including:
- Vibrant worship in the Anglican tradition enhanced by a variety of music ministries including choir, handbells, and Celtic harp ensemble.
- Since 2000, St John's Refugee Assistance Group has helped to sponsor and settle nearly 150 refugees.
- Provides space for a variety of community groups, choirs, orchestras, counselling groups and a safe drop-in day centre for women named: The Well | La Source.
- St John's also provides a Community Thrift Shop which sells gently used clothing and goods at reasonable prices and accepts donations from the public.
